We are so grateful and excited to welcome Sharmila Desai to Oslo this coming August.
Sharmila Desai was first introduced to Ashtanga yoga by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois in Mysore India in 1997. She is Certified by KPJAYI to teach the Ashtanga yoga system and is the co-author of Yoga Sadhana for Mothers. Her teachings are firmly grounded with the wisdom that comes from daily devotion, a steady practice and direct study with her teachers.
Sharmila views yoga as a life path meant to guide students to a deeper knowledge of self and an ability to live in harmony with the world they inhabit. She teaches traditional Mysore style Ashtanga yoga at her shala in India nestled amidst 100 year old coconut trees and the dogs her two children have rescued.

You can choose one of the three time slots under, there is limited space. There will also be a talk on Saturday.

Group 1: Weekdays 6.30 am - Sat and Sun 7.30 am
Group 2: Weekdays 7.45 am - Sat and Sun 8.45 am
Group 3: Weekdays 8.45 am - Sat and Sun 9.45 am
There will be a talk on Wednesday after last class for the ones who can join, and on Saturday from 12pm - 2pm about yoga philosophy and the yogic lifestyle, how to balance the rest of your life — kids, career and self-care.

If monthly card at MYO, we will freeze everyones card four days (the days of the workshop), both if you join or not.
Cancellation: We refund half of the fee if you cancel before 1. August. After this date there will be no refunds.
