Eight pieces of silk (baduanjin) qigong workshop
Learn one of the most famous of all qigong practices - the eight pieces of silk or eight brocades. As the name implies, there are eight movements which flow into each other and work the body in a wide range of ways. As with all qigong, the movements are seamlessly integrated with deep, slow breathing and mental absorption. centreing and grounding us and helping develop calmness, strength, resilience and co-ordination.
Peter has practised and taught qigong, Chinese medicine and traditional health cultivation practices for over four decades. He is known for carefully explaining the essence and structure of each movement. After the course, all participants will get access to a video of the full form as an aid to practice.
