Romerike International School Summer Camp
We would like to invite your son/daughter to Romerike International School's first "Initiation Week" Summer Camp!
With summer just around the corner and with what looks like another "staycation" for the majority of us, our newly hired Physical Education and Health Teacher, Ms. Axon, will be running a one week camp for grades 4-6 during the first week of August. This is the perfect opportunity for you to tear your son/daughter away from their phone, tablet, and/or gaming device and have them engage in a variety of physical activities that will increase their physical competence, health-related fitness, self-responsibility and hopefully enjoyment of physical activity, whilst simultaneously introducing them to their new classmates for the upcoming school year.
Want to know a little more about me? I am a native of London, England, and graduate of Oregon State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Science and Master's in Physical Education Teacher Education. For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for sports and physical activity. As the former Daglig Leder of Kolbotn IL and prior to pursuing my teaching career at Haugesund International School and Norlights International School, I spent 12-years as a professional soccer player, which allowed me to live and play in six different countries across three different continents (and was what initially brought me to Norway). In my free time, I absolutely love anything outdoors, particularly hiking. The higher the mountain the better!
