Welcome to NLHU 500 meter Precision Cup! The event is held by Norsk Langholdsunion at Terningmoen shooting range in Elverum, 2 hours drive north of Oslo. We shoot against the NLHU Precision Target at 500 meters on electronic scoring targets. The target is 2 MIL wide in total (1 meter at 500 m) and bulls eye (10) is 0,3 MIL (15 cm at 500 m).
The cup starts with a prologue where the best 16 shooters qualify for a final where they shoot a knockout match man against man untill one winner is left. There will be an additional final for the 3rd place.
Estimated rounds is aprox 30 - 80 depending on how far you go in the knockout match. Registration at the venue 30 minutes before start of the cup.
Program:
Prologue: 1 minutes zeroing, free number og shots. Then 10 rounds against target within 5 minutes. Then another 1 min zeroing before 10 rounds gainst target within 2,5 minutes and 30 seconds. Max score is 200 points.
Knockout: 1 minutes zeroing, free number og shots. Then 10 rounds against target within 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Max score is 100 p.
General rules:
All calibers, rifles and equipment is allowed
Shooting position is prone with bipod
In the event of a tie, the shooter with the smallest group will be ranked first
Prizes:
Handcrafted knives for top 3.
Important notice:
This is a binding registration and no refund is possible if you have to withdraw from the competition. But we do appreciate a early notice if you know your space will be unused. We can then offer it to someone on our waiting list. Selling a registered space will not be accepted! If the competition by any reasons get canceled you will have your entrance fee refunded.
