The intermediate/ advanced class will have a more demanding choreography, and will progress at a quicker pace.
In my opinion, what is important is not to rush to the next level, but to learn as much as possible and enjoy the classes. If you have already taken two or three salsa solo courses with me, I would recommend the intermediate level. However, if you feel that the classes are very challenging, you will still benefit from the beginners level even if you have taken classes with me before, as we will work on improving your movements.
About the dance:
Learning to master freestyle salsa is both entertaining and the best way to attack salsa, learning it’s basics before starting partner work. In this class you learn to master the different fundamental movements of Salsa, by isolating body parts, combining and coordinating dance steps with movements of hips, shoulders, upper-body and arms, together with a variety of salsa rhythms. By completing this class, you will master the fundamental elements of Salsa, easing the process towards comfortably dancing with a partner and enjoying social venues.
