Security BSides Oslo 2022 Registration

Update: Ticket sales opened!

We want to thank our sponsors, current ticketholders, venue, speakers and volunteers for sticking with us through the challenges and uncertainty of the last 2 years. We continue to monitor the situation, but we're optimistic that we will (finally!) be able to hold an in-person event this May.

Whatever health measures are required and appropriate at the time will be in place for the event.

All previous registrations for the cancelled BSides Oslo 2020 event will be valid at the 2022 event. If you have already registered, you don't don't need to do anything to confirm or update your registration.

Thanks to tremendous support from the local infosec community and our sponsors in 2019, we are thrilled to announce our 2nd "annual" conference is coming in May. We got a lot of positive feedback from participants on the perceived quality of content and overall value for the price of admission. We have taken this feedback to heart and decided to keep quality high and prices low by sticking to the single-track, single-day format, but moving to a new, larger venue—Vulkan Arena and Pokalen in central Oslo. We invite you to join us along with more than 200 other expected participants from diverse backgrounds and experience levels to help us to continue to grow as an accessible, technical information security conference in Oslo by the community for the community.

A number of participants at the previous event said they felt the ticket price was so low that they wished they could pay more. To this end, we have offered a new ticket option this year for those who want and can afford to give a little extra support. The "Friend of BSides" option gives you an additional way to show your support beyond merely attending and participating in our post-event feedback survey (also much appreciated). We don't depend on these funds to run this year's event, but we also don't budget for a huge surplus. We are a non-profit event run 100% by unpaid volunteers, and any additional funds will give us more options and lower risk to grow and respond to feedback in 2023.

All talks will be in English to be as welcoming as possible to international guests and newcomers to Norway.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided during the event and are included in the ticket price.

Please stay tuned to our website and twitter for the final speaker line-up, schedule and other important details. We will also send out email reminders as the date approaches. In the meantime, feel free to contact us if you have questions.

Refund Policy
Refunds up to 4 week before event, minus fees.

Also please read our code of conduct.

See you in May!
