The NCMDM Basic Course for Petroleum Doctors (“the course”) shall provide necessary competence to be certified and work as a petroleum doctor pursuant to “Regulations regarding health requirements for persons working on installations in petroleum activities offshore”. (No 1780 of 20th December 2010)
The course is in accordance with the National Curriculum laid down by the Norwegian Directorate of Health.
If registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation mail. This email will contain information and links to homework and a pretest which is mandatory to complete prior to attending the taught course.
15th of October we start with registration from 0800-0900. Lectures from 0900-1745
16th of October: Lectures from 0800-1415. Final course test from 1415- 1545
Prior to attending the taught course distant learning of approximately 16 hours must be completed, a pretest passed and some clinical cases must be prepared for oral presentation (only oral) as a basis for discussion later in the course.
