Investinor, the Norwegian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (NVCA) and Tequity Cluster hereby invite you to the Norwegian Venture Capital Conference on March 26 in Trondheim, the tech capital of Norway.
The Norwegian Venture Capital Conference is an arena for VC and PE firms, investors and entrepreneurs. We gather those with a shared interest in developing the leading businesses of the future.

Susanne Gløersen, Founder of SustainableInsight
Susanne is an early mover in her field, with long experience from sustainable investing across both asset and wealth management. Her background is from Carnegie, Nordea and lately as sustainability strategist with Formuesforvaltning. She has also co-founded Norsif, the Norwegian Association for Sustainable Investments. She founded SustainableInsight to advise how to capitalize, commercialize and invest in sustainability. Now she sees that many of the investment opportunities from sustainability will happen outside of the listed stocks markets.
Legal impact on locating funds – current trends and future expectations
Camilla Jøtun, Senior Lawyer, BAHR
Camilla is the deputy head of BAHR's Asset Management & Private Equity group. She is responsible for the product line «tax and structure» for the firm’s Asset Management & Private Equity clients and has more than 10 years of transactional experience with a particular focus on Norwegian and cross-border tax and structure related matters. Before joining BAHR in 2008, she worked at the Ministry of Finance, the tax law department, for three years. She has also held lectures in tax law at the University of Oslo and is engaged as teaching supervisor for master students.

Joachim Høegh-Krohn, CEO, Argentum
Joachim has worked in asset management for over 20 years. Prior to joining Argentum as CEO in 2006, Joachim was head of DNB Asset Management. He has also been Investment Director and headed up several business units at Vital Insurance. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and has also held research positions at Centre for Applied Research (SNF) and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Firda's investment strategy, shaped by three separate exits exceeding one billion NOK - a formula to make profitable early-stage investments?
Geir Førre, Serial Entrepreneur and Managing Partner of Firda
Geir is a serial entrepreneur who founded and led Chipcon and Energy Micro, two successful Norwegian semiconductor companies from inception to exit. He was also the founding investor and Chairman of Prox Dynamics, who pioneered a whole new industry within Nano UAV helicopters. The proceeds from three exits forms the financial basis for the technology investment company Firda where Geir serves as the Managing Partner.
Northzone’s greatest hits and the path ahead
Bjørn Stray, General Partner and Co-Founder of Northzone
Bjørn is one of the four founders of the early stage venture capital fund Northzone. Since establishing Northzone in 1996, he has overseen its growth from its origins in Oslo to being one of the most successful VCs in Europe, backing companies such as Spotify, iZettle, Klarna, and Avito. Northzone has offices in London, Stockholm, New York and Oslo, has raised 8 funds to date, with over €1 billion in AUM. Over the years, Bjørn has invested in companies such as Stepstone, NextGenTel, MCP, iZettle and Seriously.

Are Stenberg, Investment Director, Norvestor
Are is the Investment Director of the investment adviser Norvestor. He is currently the chairman of iSURVEY and on the board of Stamina Group and 4Service. Previous board positions include Abax, Apsis and Crayon. Are has spent one year as CFO of Wema where he was also a member of the board during Norvestor’s ownership period. Prior to joining Norvestor he was a management consultant at Accenture. Are holds an a MSc degree from NTNU within Industrial Economics and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
From nanoscience to award winning entrepreneurship
Maria Strømme, Professor at Uppsala University and Co-Founder of Disruptive Materials
Maria is professor of Nanotechnology at Uppsala University, where she is heading a research department developing nanomaterials for industrial applications. Maria became the youngest technology chair professor in Sweden at the age of 34. She is the founder of the company Disruptive Materials AB and the inventor of 40+ patents. She has received a number of prestigious awards for her scientific and entrepreneurial achievements. Maria’s present assignments include board positions in various companies and the Norwegian university NTNU.
About the organisers
Investinor is the largest venture capital investor in Norway, funded by the Norwegian government. It targets highly competitive and promising Norwegian companies aiming for international growth and expansion, and manages NOK 4.2 billion (EUR 430 million).
NVCA is the industry association for the venture capital and private equity players in Norway, and works to promote knowledge and understanding of VC/PE as an asset class and ownership form.
Tequity Cluster works for increased value creation from technology-based growth companies in the Trondheim region. This is done with emphasis on active ownership and further development of the ecosystem for commercialization.
