How Norway can be a CCS giant?

Abstract:

Wintershall Dea thinks Norway can be a hub for CCS. In this fledgling market, companies and regulators are making decisions today that will have an impact years and even decades into the future. In this presentation I intend to describe our vision for the roll out of new cross-border value chains and infrastructure, and how we can work with our European partners to help solve climate challenges.

Bio:
Kevin is a geologist by background and a former graduate trainee for Wintershall Dea. After spending several years travelling around the world as a subsurface professional, he came to Norway in 2008, and taken on several leadership roles in Exploration. In 2021, he began screening possible locations for carbon storage in Norway and took the lead for CCS and Hydrogen in Norway in 2022.
